The Town (2010)

Mesmo com expectativas bem altas, o filme conseguiu surpreender. O meu top 5 2010 começa-se a compor, sendo este um candidato à posição nº1! Muito bem realizado, bem representado (elenco de luxo... Ben Affleck, Jeremy Renner e Chris Cooper enormes), diálogos excelentes, sempre com um ritmo elevado, provocante, intrigante... uma cena de outro mundo!

Entretanto (isto para os que me conhecem) deixem-me só que vos esfregue na cara o seguinte:

Nunca... mas NUNCA duvidei da (imensa) qualidade do Ben Affleck enquanto actor! Reconheço que a sua carreira oscilou entre o péssimo/médio/bom, mas a verdade é que sempre lhe reconheci o talento! E se enquanto actor lhe dei imenso crédito, então como realizador faço uma vénia! Aqui prova que Gone Baby Gone (2007) não foi acidental, mas antes um produto da sua veia artística por detrás da câmara que para já lhe confere (potencialmente) um lugar entre os grandes film makers de Hollywood! (Hate to say i told you so...)

Posto isto, deixo aqui algumas das criticas que li sobre esta obra de arte!

As a director, Affleck now has two home runs in two at-bats. This is one of the best movies of the year.
